With online coaching you will get custom made exercise programs, achievable and realistic goal setting, nutritional coaching and constant support from your coach via an instant messaging platform of choice.
Online personal training is a 1-2-1 training session where the client performs the exercises on their program with the supervision and guidance of their coach.
Every health condition comes with its own considerations and challenges. When working with people with different conditions I accommodate peoples needs and capabilities by adapting the exercise program intensity, as well as duration, frequency and types of exercises used, to enable them to exercise safely and effectively and to get the most out of their training.
Your coaching calls will vary between each session, but typically they will include a workout/fitness review, a nutrition/food review and a general mindset coaching.
Often, I will ask you to submit a video of you performing a certain exercise or may have you demonstrate live on a call to ensure quality movements and risk assessment. Furthermore, I may ask you to submit a short food diary to review your nutrition and discuss any further adaptations that would be beneficial.
As every single client program is built from scratch, it can take a few days to have everything done and delivered. Our goal is to have all new client programs built, reviewed and delivered within 5 working days from enrolment.
No, nutritional coaching does not include a meal plan. Speaking from personal experience, whenever I’ve been given a meal plan to follow, I would either find it very hard to stick to, or somehow go back to where I started once I stopped following that meal plan.
The key to a good meal plan is one that is suitable to your lifestyle, likes and dislikes, and more importantly, one that you can stick to. Basically, a meal plan that works for YOU!!
Everyone is different, with different schedules, so no one diet or meal plan is going to work for everyone. I will guide you through the process and give you the tools and guidance you need to follow your own healthy and balanced way of eating and make adaptations when necessary.
The simple answer is no, you do not need a gym membership. The benefit of online coaching is that you can train whenever and from wherever you want. Although having access to a gym might be beneficial at times, I understand that it is not always possible due to time restrictions, lifestyle, or simply don’t like the gym environment.
Our programs are designed to suit your lifestyle, needs and goals and are adapted to any equipment you have available to you. I do however encourage clients to make modest investments in resistance bands, suspension trainer or other equipment that will add variety and progression to your exercise program and help you reach your potential.
There are many trainers or fitness scams out there that promise results in ridiculous time frames. This is very misleading and has greatly affected the reasonable expectation of a lot of people.
Any sort of change in your body, whether its weight loss, weight gain, muscle build etc, it will require time, patience and consistency.
If for example, weight loss is your goal because you’ve gained a significant amount of weight over a number of years, it’s unrealistic to expect to lose this weight in just 2 months.
There is no magic timeframe for this. Changes and results will depend on several factors including individual goals, genetic disposition, physiological adaptation to prescribed exercises, effort applied to each workout, patience, consistency, proper caloric intake, nutritional quality and variety.

APT Active Online Coaching and Online Personal Training is ideal for people that travel or take holidays. Our exercise programs can be customised based on the equipment you have available. The same accountability, workout tracking and coaching will be available to you while you travel. Basically, we will be there to guide and motivate even if you are out of the country or on the move.
APT Active is a small business based in the United Kingdom. While we do serve clients internationally, all prices on the APT Active website are in GB Pounds. This means that the actual price you pay will depend on the current exchange rate and your country’s currency and applicable laws or taxes.
Yes! The option to purchase additional coaching sessions is available if you and your coach feel these added sessions may improve your success toward your goals. Additional coaching sessions may be purchased for £25 per hour. These sessions can be purchased as a single session or in packages.
Additional sessions are mostly used for exercise technique correction in a live setting for real-time feedback.
Keep in mind, these sessions may be subject to availability.
